Perhaps we ought to have to pass a test to become a parent. It’s more important and perhaps potentially more dangerous than driving a car.

Often when having a first child, we often have no real idea how we would best like to parent our child. Often the only reality we have is how we were parented by our parents and we often have conflicting ideas about that.

Even before your child is born there is much to be considered to help maximise your child's potential. Then there is birth, baby time, walking, talking, learning, teenage years etc. etc.

The teenage years can quite often be the most difficult period for many parents. Though we believe this need not be so, especially if you have maintained a more enlightened parenting mindset prior and during this period.
